Increased Capacity for Women’s March: Power to the Polls Event

How does this affect my trip?
Blue Line: Longer trains will operate in both directions between Forest Park and O’Hare, 5am to 3pm.

Green Line: Longer trains will operate in both directions between Harlem/Lake and Ashland/63rd - Cottage Grove, 5am to 3pm.
 
Orange Line: Longer trains will operate in both directions between Midway and the Loop, 4am to 3pm.

Brown Line: Longer trains will operate in both directions between Kimball and the Loop, 5am to 3pm.

Purple Line: Longer trains will operate in both directions between Linden and Howard, 5am to 3pm.

Why is service being changed?
Added service is being provided for the convenience of customers attending the Women’s March: Power to the Polls event.

How does this affect my trip?
#3 King Drive, #4 Cottage Grove
Northbound buses will operate via Michigan, 16th, State, and Roosevelt, ending their trips at the Roosevelt Red, Orange, Green lines station. Use Red, Orange, or Green line trains between Roosevelt station and Downtown. Southbound buses will begin their trips at the Roosevelt station, operate via Roosevelt to Michigan, then resume their normal route on Michigan.
 
#6 Jackson Park Express Northbound buses will operate via Columbus, Roosevelt, Wabash, 11th, State, and Roosevelt, ending their trips at the Roosevelt Red, Orange, Green Lines station. Use Red, Orange, or Green line trains between Roosevelt station and Downtown. Southbound buses will begin their trips at the Roosevelt station, operate via Roosevelt to Columbus, then resume their normal route on Columbus.

#J14 Jeffery Jump Northbound buses will operate via Columbus, Roosevelt, and Canal, then resume their normal route on Madison. Southbound buses will operate via Washington, Clinton, and Roosevelt, then resume their normal route on Columbus.

#20 Madison, #56 Milwaukee Eastbound buses will operate via Washington, Jefferson, Fulton, and Clinton, ending their trips at the Clinton Green, Pink lines station. Use Green or Pink line trains between Clinton/Lake and Downtown. Westbound buses will begin their trips at the Clinton station, operate via Clinton to Madison, then resume their normal route on Madison.

#22 Clark Southbound buses will operate via Clark and Wacker, ending their trips at Wacker/Dearborn. Northbound buses will begin their trips at Wacker/Dearborn, then resume their normal route on Dearborn.

#29 State, #62 Archer Northbound buses will operate via State, Roosevelt, Wabash, 9th, and State, ending their trips at State/Roosevelt. Use Red, Orange, or Green line trains between Roosevelt station and Downtown. Southbound buses will begin their trips at State/Roosevelt, then continue their normal route on State.

#36 BroadwaySouthbound buses will operate via State and Wacker, ending their trips at Wacker/Dearborn. Northbound buses will begin their trips at Wacker/Dearborn, then resume their normal route on Dearborn.

#60 Blue Island/26th Eastbound buses will operate via Washington/Wacker, and Columbus, then resume their normal route on Randolph. Westbound buses will operate via Randolph, Columbus, and Wacker, then resume their normal route on Madison.
 
#124 Navy Pier Eastbound buses will operate via Washington. Wacker, State, and Wacker Place to Michigan, then resume their normal route on South Water. Westbound buses will operate via South Water, Wacker Place, Wabash, and Wacker, then resume their normal route on Madison.

#126 Jackson Eastbound buses will operate via Jackson and Franklin, ending their trips at Franklin/Adams. Westbound buses will begin their trips at Franklin/Adams, then resume their normal route on Adams.

#146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express Northbound buses will operate via Roosevelt, Canal, Jackson, and Wacker, then resume their normal route on Michigan. Southbound buses will operate via Michigan, Wacker, Adams, Clinton, and Roosevelt to State, then continue their normal route on State.

#147 Outer Drive Express Southbound buses will operate via Michigan, Wacker, Dearborn, Hubbard, LaSalle, and Wacker, ending their trips at Wacker/Clark. Northbound buses will begin their trips at Wacker/Clark, operate via Wacker to Michigan, then resume their normal route on Michigan.

#151 Sheridan Northbound buses will operate via Jackson, Franklin, and Wacker, then resume their normal route on Michigan. Southbound buses will operate via Michigan and Wacker, then resume their normal route on Adams.

How does this affect my trip?
Northbound #6 Jackson Park Express
and #J14 Jeffery Jump buses will operate via Columbus, Roosevelt, and Michigan to Balbo, then continue their normal route on Michigan.

Between Michigan/Balbo and Roosevelt/Columbus, southbound #6 and #J14 buses will operate via Michigan and Roosevelt, then resume their normal route on Columbus.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to the Women’s March: Power to the Polls event setup.
 
 
 
#152 Addison Temporary Reroute

9am, Mon, Jan 15 to 4am, Sun, Feb 18 or completion

How does this affect my trip?
Eastbound
buses will operate via Addison, Central, Irving Park, Laramie, and Addison.

Westbound buses are not affected.

Allow extra travel time.

Why is service being changed?
Buses are rerouted due to water main work on Addison at Lotus.
